The Caves sits atop the Western cliffs of Jamaica. Being high up doesn’t limit you from visiting the beach down below. There are multiple access points that lead you down to the water or you can make the plunge- there are 10, 20, and 30 foot jumps from the cliffs down to the water. Don’t forget the namesake caves, you can snorkel, dine in or even enjoy a hot tub inside of the caves.

The rooms in the hotel sit atop the cliffs in a very private way. Guests have their own cottages or even a villa. There’s 9 1-bedroom cottages, 2 2-bedroom cottages, and one deluxe villa. Since the resort is on the island’s west coast, expect spectacular sunset views. You can also enjoy these views from dinner. Dine in an oceanside gazebo with the other guests, cliffside dining under the stars, or inside a cave surrounded by candles.

The spa at The Caves is a huge draw. Picture a massage in a cave, glowing candles, and ocean waves crashing in the distance all with the exclusive training of an Aveda Concept Spa trained masseuse. There’s also a saltwater swimming pool, a cliffside jacuzzi, and a private sauna. While the resort is all-inclusive, spa services are extra. Rates for the resort start at $420/night.
